ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Sara. My love of dogs began from an early age when I used to walk racing greyhounds with my Dad who was part owner of 2 dogs.

Later in life I voluntarily walked dogs with 'Help The Aged'; I absolutely loved it and decided that it was my dream job. I decided to pursue it and created I Need A Walk in 2011.

I am dog Mam to Toby who we found at Brysons animal shelter at 8 months old. He's now 9 and has accompanied me on many walks over the years. He is cute as a button and can also be grumpy at times.

ABOUT I NEED A WALK

I Need a Walk is a pet care service operating in and around Low Fell, Gateshead Tyne and Wear. As a business I provide pet sitting, pet visits, dog walking and pet hygiene visits for your furry friends. I am fully insured and have a CRB check (Criminal Records Bureau).

I need a walk isn’t a massive money-making corporate franchise – it’s a small and personal, people and pet friendly business run since 2011 by me, Sara.

I currently own a cute but mischievous Jack Russel Terrier who came from Brysons Animal Shelter he accompanies me on some walks and gets on well with other dogs.
